DESCRIPTION:
Sometimes the painting evolves nicely; sometimes it fights back every step of the way. This one fought back for months. It almost ended up a clean white surface on many occasions, but I couldn’t bear to lose the pieces and parts that had great colours, textures or magical accidents.
MEDIUM:
Acrylic and cardboard on canvas.
DIMENSIONS:
48" x 24"

DESCRIPTION:
I enjoyed icing the paint onto the surface using my favourite palette knives, playing around creating textures and layers. When I saw a piece of paper sitting on the table, I knew exactly where it would fit. With that, it was finished.
